This 7-day and 6nights eastern Uganda circuit tour is designed in a way that your taste and preference
are perfectly met. The safari covers all the amazing destinations in the eastern part of Uganda and
enables you to explore beautiful sceneries, flora and fauna, and art among others. You will visit River
Nile which doubles as the longest river on earth, hike Mountain Elgon and sippi Falls, game viewing in
Kidepo national park, and an unforgettable interaction with the IK people. Our expert driver-guide will
pick up and drop you off at Entebbe international airport.
This safari starts as soon as you land at Entebbe international airport with a briefing, followed by a visit
to the reptile village where you will spot different reptile species such as the snakes, tortoise,
chameleons, and hedgehogs among others, rescued from this community. Thereafter, you will enjoy a
delicious Lunch in Ndere cultural center where you are free to taste local Ugandan cuisines before
proceeding with the drive to Jinja while traversing Mabira Forest, and the magically suspended Jinja
Bridge. You will spend 2-3 hours on this busy road, arriving at Jinja in the evening and proceeding to
your lodge for some refreshment, followed by dinner and a nap.
Welcome this day with a delicious cup of coffee before heading out for an amazing 2-3 hour boat cruise
to the source of the longest river on Earth; River Nile, take photos in the beautiful gardens, and Mahat
Magadhi portrait. Afterward, return to the Hotel for Lunch before proceeding to Mount Elgon National
park where you will enjoy dinner and spend your night as you wait for the next day's activities.
You will start this day with energy-giving breakfast before driving to the park's headquarters where you
will find the park rangers who verify your documents, brief you about the hike, and then accompany you
on the 4-5 hour adventure. Mountain Elgon is known for her wide caldera that you will sport from a
distance, together with a good selection of bamboo tree species rare bird species and coffee
plantations; the hike is not so challenging though some fitness is required.You will have a lunch break, before proceeding to sippi falls to spend the evening admiring the
fascinating three falls, take photos, and bath if you want. Afterward, you will return to the lodge for
dinner and overnight.
After enjoying the first meal of the day, checkout of the Lodge and embark on a 9-10 hour drive to
Kidepo valley national park, Uganda's true wilderness. you will have an en-route stopover at Nyero Rock
painting where you will be amazed by the art left behind by the ancient occupants of the Place;
paintings on the rock that have not been translated to date. Thereafter, you will proceed with the drive
to the park, traversing the scattered grass-thatched Karamojong huts, some natives moving naked and
the undulating hills. Lunch will be en-route whereas dinner and overnight at the lodge in the park
After breakfast, pick your packed lunch and head to the Narus valley and other parts of the park for a
full day game viewing exercise on an open roof 4WD. The cameras and binoculars have to be on standby
because any second presents a rare surprise of several mammals and birds roaming around the vast
savannah grassland. Kidepo valley is famous for her beautiful landscape, and hosting four of Africa's big
five namely; Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, and leopards, co-existing with several other mammals namely;
hyenas, giraffes, warthogs, waterbuck, elands, and zebras among others. Note that spotting the cats
hunting or resting requires luck. You will have a picnic Lunch after 5-6hours of game viewing and then
refreshment, dinner, and overnight at sunset.
Very early in the morning, you will glance at the beautiful sunrise, followed by 30 minutes at the Apoka
viewing point where you will watch different mammals such as the Buffalos, elephants, giraffes, and
zebras among others, grazing. Thereafter, enjoy a mouth-watering lunch, followed by a visit to the Ik
people who are believed to be the original Ugandans and one of the oldest cultures on earth. You will
spend this day interacting with them, watching their exciting dances, and listening to amazing stories
until late in the evening when you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and dinner.
Welcome this day with a relaxing cup of coffee before bidding farewell to your new friends and
embarking on an 8-9 hour drive to Entebbe international airport where you will get a flight to the next
destination, with an en-route Lunch.

Kidepo Valley National Park is one of Africa's most spectacular wilderness areas and is home to elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. Wildlife sightings vary, but the park offers excellent game-viewing opportunities throughout the year.
We recommend packing comfortable clothing in neutral colors, sturdy walking shoes, a light jacket, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, insect repellent, a camera, binoculars, and any personal medications. A small daypack is also useful for hiking and day excursions.
