This 20-Days Long Neste Uganda Safari Ltd Safari takes you to all the corners of the country, all
offering unique and surprising experiences. You will visit the source of the longest River on
earth (River Nile), visit Mount Elgon, sippi falls, Kidepo National park, Murchison falls national
park, Kibaale forest national park, Queen Elizabeth national park, Semuliki national park,
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park, Lake Bunyonyi and Lake Mburo national Park. You
will cite several games on a game drive, track Gorillas and chimpanzees, cultural encounter,
sight seeing and boat cruise among others.
From your long journey, our professional Guide will receive you at the airport; brief you about
the whole trip before driving you to the Hotel in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. This
journey is on a very smooth route through some scenic views of Lake Victoria and green
plantation across the highway. When you reach town yet still strong, you will have a simple city
tour as you visit the museum and independence monument both having very interest. After, you
can drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
After enjoying a very satisfying breakfast; the driver guide will drive you to eastern part of
Uganda to Mount Elgon national park and sippi falls but passing via River Nile. This journey
takes roughly 5-6 hours leaving all factors constant, the drive to Jinja is 1-2 hours, enjoy
photography, boat ride to the source of the Nile and white water rafting incase time allows.
After, have lunch and proceed to Mbale, home to Mount Elgon national park. Check-in to the
lodge for dinner and overnight as you wait for the next day’s Hiking Activity.
Enjoy your early morning breakfast and depart to the parks trail head for a brief briefing of how
to hike this mountain, its peak is called Wagagai. You will encounter several treasures while
hiking, such as primates, several bird species and amazing plant species. Afterwards, you will
have lunch and head for nature walk in sippi falls with its 3 unique thundering falls; you can
expect to see the caves, plantations of coffee, matooke and sugar cane along the way. Later on,
Trek back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After an early morning cup of coffee, you will check out of the lodge and set off for a long
journey to Kidepo national park located in the Northern Part of Uganda, this park prides in
having majority of wildlife gem in its plains, it’s an ideal place to visit. This journey will last for
approximately 7-8 hours but giving you great sights of plantations, rolling hills and amazing
water bodies. You will have lunch along the way, and then proceed to your lodge for
refreshment, dinner and overnight while waiting for the next day’s activities.
This is another wonderful day with a lot of activities to be done, so after your early morning
breakfast, your driver will take you to the parks headquarters to set off to the plains to catch-up
with the early morning hunters heading to the field to make a day’s catch, and night hunters
returning to have a rest. Some of the wildlife game you will encounter include lions, antelopes,
Buffaloes, Elephants, Rhinos among others, while spoting several bird species.
Later on after lunch, you will refreshen before visiting IK karamong People who will showcase
to you there cultures through stories, dances and culinary. After all is done, drive back to the
lodge for dinner and rest.
After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, checkout and transfer to the magnificent
Murchison falls national park – Uganda’s largest national park with lots of natural wonders. The
drive leaves you amazed as you sight the beautiful grass thatched houses that depict the tree
African culture, hills and wonderful structures, visit the famous Top of the falls where you can
enjoy a snack while listening to the sound of the thundering waterfalls! , upon arriving at the
park late in the evening, unwind, enjoy dinner and overnight at you lodge.
After breakfast, pick your camera, binoculars and other tools, and head to the wilderness for a
game drive on the Northern bank of River Nile. This rewarding activity takes about 3 – 5 hours
with a chance of spoting, elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda
Kobs, oribis and waterbucks.
Afterwards, Head to your lodge for a sumptuous lunch and in the afternoon; go for a launch
cruise on the Albert Nile which will give you an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the
mighty Murchison falls. While on the cruise, expect to cite crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the
river bank such as the kingfisher, cormorants, bee-eater and the rare shoebill stork. Retire with
Dinner and overnight at your accommodation.
Have your tasty lunch at the lodge before checking out and heading to the primate world of
kibale Forest national park with over 13 primate species. This journey last for about 7 hours,
with a stopover at Fort portal for lunch and also visiting the Tooro kings palace, besides enjoying
the amazing hills of Mount Rwenzori. Continue to the park arriving in the evening for Dinner
and overnight.
After your first meal of the day, head to the park for a trekking briefing session before heading to
the jungle in quest for these primates. This park accommodates over 13primate species such as
the vervet monkeys, chimpanzees, Columbus monkeys among other. So, the guide will lead you
while explaining to you everything that seems unique and new to you, this is an unforgettable
feeling as you enjoy the different bird and primate sounds from all angles of the park.
Return for Lunch at your lodge before heading for a nature walk experience in the Bigodi swamp
area, you will look out for most of the water loving bird species, and those primates that prefer
this place rather than the park. In the evening, trek back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After Breakfast, have a short Drive to Semliki national park for yet another mazing experience of
sighting the Unique sempaya Hot springs, and several bird species. When you reach the park,
check-in to the lodge and after lunch, go and sight the Female and Male Hot springs. It’s very a
mazing to know that the Female hot spring can prepare eggs till that point that is eatable. After,
sight some birds and return to the lodge. At night, enjoy you peace at the lodge and having
dinner.
Upon finishing your early morning Breakfast, embark on a 3-4 hour drive to Queen Elizabeth
national park for a boat cruise and game drive. So, when you reach the park in the afternoon,
you will have lunch and head to Kazinga channel for that unique ultimate experience of sailing
on water. You will also have an opportunity of viewing crocodiles and some gem coming to
quench their thirst.
After, retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After your early morning breakfast, head to kasenyi plains for a game Drive experience, Here,
you stand a chance of sighting Elephants, lions, buffaloes, Leopards, baboons and warthogs
among others enjoying the wilderness. Afterwards, have a picnic lunch then drive to Bwindi
impenetrable Forest national park for gorilla trekking Exercise, while passing through the
ishasha sector that offers an opportunity of citing the tree climbing Lions Up on the Tree
Branches. Upon Reaching Buhoma Sector, Check-in to the lodge for dinner and overnight
After that delicious breakfast, head to the Sectors headquarters, for a pre-trekking briefing that
commences at 8:30 with verification of documents, and the guides will be elaborating on the
acceptable behaviors while trekking the gorillas. The guide will then lead you to the Jungle in
quest of these treasure while following the Broken Tree branches, this search will last for
approximately 1-3 hours depending on how fit you are, one hour Is yours for studying these
unique mammals that posses 98% human DNA. Return to the lodge for lunch before having an
encounter with the Batwa pygmies who will entertain you with their history and cultural
performances.
Retire at night for dinner and overnight.
Upon having a cup of coffee, you will set off for Lake Bunyonyi which is one of the deepest
lakes in Africa with approximately 29 islands surrounding, it is an ideal place for Birders and
relaxation. so, after your arrival, check-in to the accommodation for lunch, and enjoy the
surrounding vicinity that whole evening while taking photos and studying birds. It is important to
note that each island in this destination is named according to the bird species found there and
the purpose of the island such as the punishment island, enjoy your dinner and overnight.
Let the suns raise wake you Up to a very delicious morning cup of Tea as you feed your eyes
with the beautiful surrounding , thereafter, Jump to the canoe and visit the different islands such
as the punishment island and the reptile zone to check on the different reptiles in this great
destination.
This day will be for only relaxing and exploring the different islands that offer unique and
uncovered reality. Afterwards, return to the lodge dinner and overnight as you wait for the next
day’s activity.
Enjoy an early morning breakfast before embarking on your journey to Lake Mburo national
park while crossing the rolling hills and slopes of Kabale, have a stopover in Mbarara town for
lunch and then Proceed to Lake Mburo. On arrival, check-in to your lodge, if possible, engage in
simple activities and photography then retire with dinner and an overnight.
After an early morning cup of coffee, head to the wilderness of Lake Mburo national park to
catch-Up with the rare wildlife in this destination, you will have chance of citing animals such as
zebras, topis, elands, impalas, buffaloes and antelopes among others, there are also several bird
species that you will be in position of sighting. After lunch, head for a boat cruise on Lake
Mburo which will get you close to Crocodiles and Hippos. Enjoy your dinner and overnight after
returning from the day’s activities.
After an early morning breakfast, you will check-out of the lodge and embark on a 3-4 hours
journey to kampala city, when you arrive, check-in to your accommodation, have lunch and
proceed to Baha’i Temple for some religious tour, thereafter, the kabakas palace and later drive
back while making a stop at the craft village to purchase some souvenirs before reaching the
Hotel for dinner and overnight.
This is your second last day before departing the following day, you will be driven to yet a very
interesting destination, the Ssesse Island situated right in the Banks of Lake Victoria. You will
head to Nakiwogo Landing site to catch-up with a ferry that will arrive at Ssesse after three hours
while giving you a wonderful pleasure of sailing on water. On arrival, go for Lunch then bird-
watching and forest walk in the nearby forest on the Island You will search for primates namely;
Monkeys, water and forest birds such as: Hornbill, Flycatcher, weaver, Fish Eagle, and colorful
butterflies. Enjoy the sand beaches when you return for dinner and overnight.
After enjoying your early morning breakfast, depart from the Island Using the morning Ferry
back to Bukakata, then have lunch in Entebbe town before proceeding to the airport for your
flight .
