Lake Mburo National park is a virgin destination with wide biodiversity of flora and Fauna, cool climate,
classic accommodation, security, and Accessibility. You will have the option of watching mammals on
foot and game drive, a guided nature walk, rewarding boat cruise, and visiting Igongo Cultural center to
experience the culture of western Uganda. The trip starts and ends in Entebbe international airport,
with the entire package carefully organized to match your interest.
As your plane lands at Entebbe international airport, our company representative will be waiting for you
with a placard written on your name; His strong smile should make you recognize him on a far distance.
When you meet, he will brief you about the entire three-day experience, including answering the
questions you may raise during the Interaction. After the briefing, the journey begins with a simple city
tour where you will visit Uganda's Museum to see some of the Historical symbols preserved in this place
for visitors to watch.
Thereafter, you will enjoy a mouth-watering Lunch around the City before proceeding with the 3-4 hour
drive to the Park, traversing beautiful sceneries, plantations, and the local natives waving with smiling to
the visitors. On arrival at your lodge, check-in and wait for your meal before retiring to bed.
As the sun peeps early in the morning, you will wake up for your breakfast, followed by a 4-5 hour game
drive around the savanna grassland of Lake Mburo National Park expecting to encounter several
mammals such as Buffalos, zebras, elephants, Impalas, Elands and topis among other mammals, plus
sighting several Unique Bird species and tree species. Note that there are no cats such as lions and
leopards in this place, thus necessitating game viewing on foot.
When the game viewing is done, you will have Lunch and some refreshment before going for a 2-3
afternoon boat cruise in on Lake Mburo, an experience that exposes you to various mammals quenching
their thirst by the lakeside, rare bird species and then the Hippos and crocodiles swimming. We expect
that by the end of the day, the camera will have done what it does best before returning to the lodge for
dinner and overnight.
On this day, you will clear the sleep with a hot cup of coffee, before heading for an exciting cultural
experience at Igongo cultural center, a one-stop center for the Ugandan western culture, such as the
Bunyoro, Batooro among others. You will be taken through a serious of Cultural dances, stories, and
demonstration before enjoying Lunch and driving back to Kampala or Entebbe international airport for a
flight to your next destination.
