Upon arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a professional guide from Neste Uganda
Safaris Ltd will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in and a short rest, you may choose
to explore the Giraffe Centre, where endangered Rothschild giraffes can be hand-fed, or visit the Karen
Blixen Museum, the former home of the Out of Africa author.
In the evening, you’ll receive a full safari briefing from your guide, covering safety, travel tips, and what
to expect during the migration safari. Nairobi offers a relaxed first impression of Kenya, allowing you to

After an early breakfast, depart for the Maasai Mara National Reserve, driving through the scenic Great
Rift Valley. En route, enjoy short photo stops at escarpment viewpoints. Arrive at your camp or lodge in
time for lunch, followed by your first afternoon game drive across the endless golden plains.
The Mara is home to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa — the Wildebeest Migration.
Depending on the timing (typically July–October), you may see thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and
gazelles moving in massive herds, closely followed by predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Even
outside the river crossing days, guests witness dramatic chases and feeding frenzies. Return to camp for
dinner and overnight, with the sounds of nature surrounding you.

Spend the entire day in the Maasai Mara with both morning and afternoon game drives. You’ll drive
towards the Mara River, where crocodiles lie in wait and herds gather, hesitating before the dramatic
plunge across the water. This is where the famous migration river crossings happen — a powerful
display of survival, instinct, and chaos.
Throughout the plains, expect sightings of lion prides, leopards resting in acacia trees, and cheetahs on
the hunt. Elephants roam the woodlands, and massive herds of topis, elands, and buffalos fill the
landscape. Your guide may also take you to a Maasai village, where you’ll interact with local
communities, learn about their traditional lifestyles, and see their colorful beadwork. Overnight in
Maasai Mara.

After an early breakfast and a final morning game drive, depart the Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru
National Park, arriving by midday. This park, nestled in the Great Rift Valley, is known for its shimmering
soda lake, acacia forests, and rich birdlife. Check into your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive.
Lake Nakuru is a sanctuary for endangered black and white rhinos, often seen near the lake shore or
lounging under trees. The lake itself is famous for its seasonal populations of lesser flamingos, pelicans,
and over 400 species of birds, including grey-headed gulls, Hammerkop, and great white egrets. You
may also encounter Rothschild’s giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, and leopards. Overnight near or inside the
park.

After an early breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, one of the most scenic parks in Kenya,
located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. The drive is long but scenic, passing through small towns,
Maasai lands, and arid landscapes. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for a late lunch and a
relaxing break.
In the late afternoon, head out for your first Amboseli game drive. The park is famous for its large
elephant herds, often seen walking in single file against the backdrop of snow-capped Kilimanjaro. You’ll
also see zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, and possibly lions lounging in the grass. Birdwatchers may spot
yellow-billed storks, African jacanas, and spur-winged geese in the swamps. Overnight stay in Amboseli.

Start the day with a sunrise game drive — the best time to photograph Mount Kilimanjaro in clear
morning light. Watch as elephants bathe in Amboseli’s swamps, and hippos, crowned cranes, and
Egyptian geese move about the marshes. Your guide will explain the park’s delicate ecosystem, fed by
underground springs from Kilimanjaro’s melting glaciers.
Later in the day, explore the dry lakebed areas, where you may see cheetahs, hyenas, and giraffes. Keep
an eye on the sky for martial eagles and African hawk-eagles. You may visit a local Maasai village, where
you can interact with community members, learn about their relationship with wildlife, and experience
their songs and dances. Return to the lodge for your final bush dinner under the stars.

After a relaxed breakfast and a short morning drive, you’ll begin your journey back to Nairobi, arriving in
the early afternoon. If your flight is later in the day, you may stop for lunch in Nairobi or visit a local craft
market to pick up souvenirs.
Your guide will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight. As your
Kenyan safari ends, you’ll leave with incredible memories — from elephants beneath Kilimanjaro, to
rhinos by the lake, and the once-in-a-lifetime sight of thousands of wildebeest crossing the Mara River.
