In this three days white water rafting in Nalubale Dam in River Nile; located in the eastern part
of Uganda, you will test your courage and teamwork skills as you tussle it out with the
thundering water rapids, diving in and out as the water waves celebrate your determination. Not
only that, but you will also visit the reptile village, explore the Nile by visiting the source of the
longest river on earth (river Nile), engage in Photography, forest walks, and pose at the portrait
of Mahat Magadhi. This safari starts and ends in Entebbe international airport.
With a smile all read on your face of a safe journey to Uganda (the pearl of Africa), exit the
plane majestically, and meet one of our experienced driver-guide who will happily receive you
for the three-day tour, starting with a briefing and a glass of Juice. He will explain to your more
about white water rafting, Uganda, and answer some of the questions you may pose before
hitting the road.
Firstly, with a visit to the Reptile Village in Entebbe to see the different reptiles such as snakes,
Tortoise, and chameleons among others before proceeding for Lunch and an optional visit to the
countries Museum. After Lunch, proceed with the 3-4 hour drive to Jinja, while encountering the
unpredictable traffic Jam, the Famous Mabira Forest, green plantations and the Magical Jinja
Bridge. You will check-in to the lodge upon your arrival late in the evening for dinner and
overnight
At dawn, warm your intestines with a tasty cup of coffee before joining a team of rafters at the
Nalubale Dawn in River Nile; an activity that requires teamwork and courage. You have a choice
to either make a rough one where you will face the rough water rapids, with strong waves and
deafening sound yet very exciting and Unforgettable or go for a simple one which is less
terrifying. This exercise lasts for 30-3hours before driving back to the lodge for lunch, followed
by a visit to the source of the Nile while on a boat, take photos, and by some souvenirs. You will

At approximately 08:00hours, you will be served with breakfast before checking out of the lodge
or a 3-4 hour drive to Entebbe international airport for a flight to the next destination, or to your
hotel in the city. However, there will be an en-route stopover at Mabira forest for a rewarding 1-
2hour forest walk that gives you an opportunity of watching rare bird species and primates,
followed by a mouth watering Lunch.

Yes. The trip is led by professional guides with full safety briefings, rescue kayakers, and safety equipment (life jackets and helmets). Even first-timers can participate safely, although the rapids are powerful (Grade 4–5).
No, swimming skills are not required. You will wear a life jacket at all times, and safety kayakers are always nearby to assist if you fall into the water.
The main activity is one full day of white water rafting on the Nile. The other days are mainly for travel, accommodation, relaxation, and optional activities.
