Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha town or Kilimanjaro International Airport by
a Neste Uganda Safaris guide. After a quick briefing, you’ll drive toward Arusha National Park, located
just 40 minutes from town. Upon entering the park gates, your safari begins immediately as you journey
through lush montane forests and rolling hills dotted with wildlife. You'll enjoy a scenic game drive
through the Ngurdoto Crater area, often called "Little Ngorongoro", for its dramatic views and abundance
of animals. Look out for buffalos, warthogs, zebras, and bushbucks, as well as troops of black-and-white
colobus monkeys swinging through the trees. Stop at the Ngurdoto Museum viewpoint for panoramic
shots of the crater and surrounding landscapes. Continue to your lodge for a relaxing evening, with dinner
served under the stars and views of towering Mount Meru in the distance.

After breakfast, head out for a unique morning experience—canoeing on the Momella Lakes. These
shallow, alkaline lakes are home to flocks of flamingos, pelicans, Egyptian geese, and other water birds.
As you paddle quietly across the calm water, enjoy up-close views of giraffes grazing near the shore,
hippos submerged, and waterbuck drinking. It’s a peaceful and photogenic adventure unlike any other in
Tanzania. In the afternoon, swap the canoe for boots and embark on a guided walking safari accompanied
by a park ranger. This thrilling, low-impact activity allows you to explore the plains and forest on foot,
tracking giraffes, zebras, and antelopes at eye level. You’ll also learn about the smaller creatures, animal
tracks, and medicinal plants. Return to the lodge in time to enjoy a sundowner while watching the fading
golden light over the park’s sweeping hills. Optional: night game drive (if offered by your lodge).

Wake up early for a light breakfast and check out of your lodge. Before leaving the park, take a short
drive to the Mount Meru foothills for a guided nature hike to the Tululusia Waterfall. The trail passes
through thick forest where you may see blue monkeys, turacos, and hear the calls of hornbills above. The
waterfall offers a refreshing moment to pause and reflect amid nature. After the hike, exit the park and
enjoy a cultural stopover at the Ngongongare Maasai Market or a nearby local craft center, where you can
shop for handmade souvenirs and learn about local culture. Your driver-guide will then transfer you to
Arusha town, Kilimanjaro International Airport, or your next safari destination—concluding your
