Depart Nairobi early, driving through the central highlands with views of Mount Kenya en route to
Samburu (approx. 6–7 hours). Arrive at your lodge or tented camp for lunch and rest, then head out on
your first game drive in the late afternoon. Explore the reserve’s dry, dramatic landscape and spot
unique wildlife rarely found elsewhere in Kenya. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Start with an early morning game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River, looking for elephants, lions,
leopards, and the Samburu Special Five. After breakfast, relax at camp or enjoy the surroundings. In the
afternoon, go for another game drive or opt for a visit to a local Samburu village to learn about their
traditions and way of life. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Enjoy a final early morning game drive before breakfast, soaking in the last moments of the wild. After
checking out, begin the journey back to Nairobi, stopping for lunch along the way. Arrive in the late
afternoon, ending your memorable Samburu safari.
