This 14-day Kenya safari guided by Neste Uganda Safaris encompasses some of East Africa’s
most iconic parks and coastal beauty. Start with Amboseli’s majestic elephants and Kilimanjaro
views, then explore the bird-rich Rift Valley lakes Naivasha and Nakuru—home to flamingos,
rhinos, and rare wildlife. Next, lose yourself in the Maasai Mara’s abundant big cats, plains
game, and the spectacular Great Migration spectacle. Tsavo West and East offer a raw
wilderness experience with red elephants, lava flows, and vast herds roaming wide open
savannahs. Finally, unwind on Kenya’s Indian Ocean coast, where coral reefs, dolphins, and
swaying palms provide the perfect contrast to the wildlife-filled adventures inland
Today, you will Arrive in Nairobi and meet your Neste Uganda Safaris guide. Depending on
arrival time, visit the Giraffe Centre or David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage to get an early
wildlife fix. Overnight in Nairobi.
Drive to Amboseli, renowned for massive elephant herds against the backdrop of Mount
Kilimanjaro. Afternoon game drive: see large bull elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly lions
and cheetahs. Birdwatch flamingos, African fish eagles, and lilac-breasted rollers. Checkin to
your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you will spend this Full day exploring Amboseli’s swamps, plains, and acacia
woodlands. Watch elephants bathing and hippos in wetlands; predators like lions and spotted
hyenas may be spotted. Bird species include martial eagles and saddle-billed storks. After word,
have dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Follow your breakfast meal with a Drive to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake famous for hippos
and birdlife. Afternoon boat ride spotting hippos, fish eagles, kingfishers, and fish jumping.
Walk Crescent Island’s predator-free sanctuary among giraffes, zebras, impalas, and waterbucks.
End the day with dinner and a nap
From the breakfast table, Explore Hell’s Gate National Park on foot or bicycle through dramatic
gorges, geothermal vents, and cliffs. See zebras, Thomson’s gazelles, rock hyraxes, and soaring
Verreaux’s eagles. Return for a relaxing afternoon at the lakeside lodge. Dinner and a nap at the
lodge
Start this day with breakfast and a Short drive to Lake Nakuru, famous for its spectacular
flamingo populations (seasonal) and endangered black and white rhinos. Game drives reveal
large herds of buffalos, waterbucks, Rothschild giraffes, and baboons. Watch for elusive leopards
and hippos in the lake. Afterword End this day with dinner and a nap.
After breakfast, have a Morning game drive, then drive to Maasai Mara. Afternoon drive
introduces guests to the Mara’s vast populations of lions, elephants, buffalo, and cheetahs
roaming acacia savannah. Keep an eye out for rare black rhinos and graceful giraffes. A nap after
dinner follows.
Full day with morning and afternoon game drives in the Mara. Witness the Big Five—lion,
leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. During migration season, witness wildebeest and zebra
herds crossing crocodile-infested Mara River. Birdlife includes Kori bustards and lilac-breasted
rollers. Enjoy a pleasurely sunset, dinner and a nap. There is an optional cultural safari at Masai
Cultural community.
After breakfast, drive to Tsavo West National Park. Afternoon game drive through this diverse
ecosystem, spotting red elephants, lions, zebras, and rare sable antelope. Visit Mzima Springs to
see hippos and crocodiles underwater through glass viewing windows. Dinner and a nap
Full day exploring Tsavo West’s lava flows, baobab trees, and dense bush. Enjoy game drives
spotting elephants, giraffes, waterbucks, buffalo, and possibly elusive leopards. Visit the Shetani
Lava Flow and natural hot springs. End this day with dinner and overnight.
Drive to Tsavo East, known for its vast open plains and large herds of elephants. Game drives to
spot lions, cheetahs, and large herds of elephants crossing dry riverbeds. Look for ostriches,
vultures, and colorful bee-eaters. Sunset over the plains is spectacular.
Drive to the Kenyan coast (Mombasa or Diani Beach). Afternoon relax on white sandy beaches.
Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, or simply soaking up the sun by the Indian Ocean. Day 13 Is for
relaxing and meditating on how the trip was as well as the beauty of nature. You can engage in
other activities as well. End this day with dinner and overnight.
Enjoy a morning at leisure, maybe a last swim or stroll on the beach. Transfer to Mombasa or
Ukunda airport for your flight back to Nairobi and onward international departure.
