Queen Elizabeth National Park can be visited throughout the year, but the best wildlife viewing is usually during the dry seasons from June to August and December to February, when animals are easier to spot around water sources and game tracks are more accessible.
We recommend carrying light comfortable clothing in neutral colors, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable walking shoes, insect repellent, a camera/binoculars, and a light jacket for early morning or evening game drives.
During the safari, you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, hippos, crocodiles, warthogs, and a wide variety of bird species. The Kazinga Channel boat cruise also offers excellent opportunities to view wildlife along the waterbanks.
