Your safari begins with a morning pick-up in Kigali, followed by a scenic drive to Nyungwe Forest
National Park in Rwanda’s southwest. En-route, enjoy views of the rolling hills, tea plantations, and rural
villages. You may stop at King's Palace Museum in Nyanza or National Ethnographic Museum in Huye for
a cultural and historical insight. Arrive at your lodge near Nyungwe in the evening for dinner and
overnight.

Start early with a thrilling chimpanzee tracking experience in Nyungwe dense rainforest. Trek through
the forest with expert guides to find these energetic primates in their natural habitat. Upon finding
them, you have one hour of watching them play and interact. After lunch, enjoy the canopy walk,
suspended 60 meters above ground, offering panoramic views of the forest, the surrounding landscape,
and a chance to see monkeys and birds from above. Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

After breakfast, begin your journey to Akagera National Park. You can choose to stop at tea plantations
or local craft shops along the way. Arrive in Kigali in the afternoon for some refreshment and Lunch, and
thereafter proceed with the drive for the next three hours to Akagera National park. Arrive in the
evening and proceed to your Lodge for check-in, dinner and a nap.

Today, Rise early for a morning game drive through Akagera’s northern plains. Look out for elephants,
giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and potentially lions and leopards. In the afternoon, enjoy a
peaceful boat safari on Lake Ihema, where you may see hippos, crocodiles, and water birds. Dinner and
overnight inside the park.

After breakfast, you will Hit the road to Kigali or any other Agreed drop off point. In Kigali, you will visit
the Genocide Memorial site, before departure.
