After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will head out to the starting point at
Kibumba post where briefing takes place. The gorilla trek usually takes
about 2 to 6 hours the gorillas on location of the gorilla group being trekked and the
difficulty of the terrain.
From only a short distance away, take in the impressive sight of silverback as he
keeps a watchful eye over his family. You will see young gorillas pumping their
chests, mothers tenderly feeding their young and watch baby gorillas gleefully play-
fighting, somersaulting and leaping from tree to tree in their natural environment.
You have an hour with the gorillas to explore their behaviour and take pictures for
your memories. For this lifetime adventure, you have to be equipped with camera but
without flashlight, long sleeved shirts, trousers, hat, hiking boots that are waterproof
and others.
