Overview:
Embark on a 4-day adventure through Uganda’s pristine wilderness, exploring the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the renowned Mountain Gorillas, and the serene Lake Bunyonyi. This safari promises unforgettable encounters with wildlife, rich cultural experiences, and adventure in the heart of Uganda’s most iconic landscapes.
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or the airport. Travel in comfort with our experienced guide in a 4x4 safari vehicle, heading southwest towards the picturesque regions of Kabale and Kisoro. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of Uganda’s countryside, including stops at the equator for photos, and a visit to tea plantations.
Stop for lunch in Mbarara at the Igongo Cultural Center and Museum, then continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, where you’ll unwind and prepare for the exciting gorilla trekking experience ahead.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After an early breakfast, head to the Uganda Wildlife Authority offices in Buhoma for a briefing on gorilla trekking. You'll join a group of trekkers and set off with guides and rangers into the heart of the forest.
The trek can take 2-3 hours as you journey through the dense forest, encountering wildlife such as forest hogs, elephants, colobus monkeys, and more. When you finally meet a family of mountain gorillas, you’ll have an hour to observe and photograph them, a truly magical experience.
Afterward, return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a Batwa cultural experience, learning about the indigenous forest people before transferring to the serene Lake Bunyonyi, known for its scenic beauty and 29 islands.

Day 3: Lake Bunyonyi Adventure
Start the day with a hearty breakfast, followed by a series of thrilling activities. Zipline across Lake Bunyonyi, take canopy walks, or challenge yourself with rope climbing and swinging. After lunch, relax by the lake, enjoying the peaceful surroundings or take a swim. In the evening, gather around a campfire for an African cultural night experience, sharing stories under the stars.

Day 4: Return to Kampala/Entebbe
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before beginning the journey back to Kampala or the airport. On the way, take in the breathtaking views of Uganda’s lush, green hills, often referred to as the "Switzerland of Africa." Stop for lunch in Kampala before arriving in Entebbe for your departure, leaving Uganda with unforgettable memories and a yearning for more.
