Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Pickup and Drive to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Upon arrival at the airport or hotel, you’ll be greeted by your guide, who will introduce you to Uganda, Murchison Falls, and the activities planned for the next three days—all while you enjoy a refreshing glass of juice. The journey to Murchison Falls National Park, located in Masindi District, is a scenic 5-6 hour drive, offering views of fascinating infrastructures and lush plantations.
On the way, you'll have a 1-2 hour stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola District for Rhino tracking and lunch. Afterward, continue to your lodge in the park where you'll enjoy dinner and rest.

Day 2: Rewarding Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Start your day early with a game drive in the northern sector of the park. Lasting about 3-4 hours, this drive will take you through the vast savannah, where you'll search for both prey and predators. Along the way, you'll see stunning landscapes, primates, various bird species, and unique trees. Commonly spotted mammals include elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and warthogs. If you're lucky, you might also see lions, leopards, and hyenas.
After the game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch before embarking on a 2-3 hour boat cruise to the base of the falls. Here, you'll witness the thunderous waterfalls, take photos, and observe Nile crocodiles, hippos, and unique bird species like the shoebill stork. The day ends with a hike to the top of the falls before returning to the lodge for dinner and a restful night.
